Trade Kitchen

We've had winter fun in Trade Kitchen with hearty soups and hot pasta dishes proving to be a huge favourite with students and staff at Heatherwood School and Statewide Vision Resource Centre for lunch. The self-saucing chocolate pudding, lemon meringue pie slice and banana bread have also been popular as the daily dessert special changes each day. The students have continued to gain confidence in preparing all the lunches and are excited about the new building as it nears completion. Some Year 10 students have expressed an interest in hospitality for next year or gaining employment at a cafe to further develop their skills.

Trade Kitchen operates Monday - Thursday, with Year 10 and senior students preparing and serving nutritious meals, snacks, and treats.
