Principal's Update

Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of Term 1, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the journey we have undertaken together. The start of the school year has been filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to learning and growth. Our students have embraced new challenges, our staff have worked tirelessly to support their development, and our wider school community has continued to demonstrate the strong bonds that make Catholic College Sale a special place.
The Importance of Easter
At this time of year, as we approach the Easter season, we are reminded of the central message of our faith which is hope, renewal, and love. Easter is a time of great significance for Catholics worldwide. It is a season that calls us to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the promise of new life that His resurrection brings. As ‘Pilgrims of Hope,’ we are invited to walk in faith, to show kindness and compassion, and to embrace the opportunities for growth that lie ahead.
In our school community, we see this hope reflected in the daily interactions between students, staff, and families. We are blessed to witness the spirit of generosity, service, and faith in action. As we take a well-deserved break, let us carry with us the message of Easter, a message of love and renewal that inspires us to be strong of mind, gentle of heart, and always mindful of God’s presence in our lives.
A Term of Achievement and Connection
Throughout this term, we have celebrated many wonderful achievements. From academic success to sporting triumphs, from creative pursuits to acts of service, our students consistently shine in numerous ways. I extend my sincere thanks to our teachers and support staff, who work so passionately to provide an enriching learning environment where each student is valued and encouraged to thrive.
Our commitment to fostering strong relationships within our school community remains at the heart of all we do. We are grateful for the engagement and support of our families, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the terms ahead.
Personally, it has been a wonderful community to be a part of, and I have been humbled by the level of support provided by the staff at Catholic College Sale, the students, and the wider community. I want to express my gratitude to the Catholic College Sale Community for making my first term such a memorable one.
Wishing You a Safe and Restful Break
As we enter the school holidays, I encourage all students and families to take time for rest and renewal. May this break be an opportunity to reconnect with loved ones, to reflect on the blessings of the past term, and to return refreshed and ready for the journey ahead.
On behalf of all at Catholic College Sale, I wish you a joyful and blessed Easter. May the hope of the risen Christ fill your hearts and homes with peace and happiness.
God bless,
Brett Van Berkel
