As we approach the school holidays, it is a great time for our families to review their children's online safety settings and digital habits.
The Australian Government’s eSafety Commissioner has developed a very handy & helpful guide for parents and carers about parental controls, online safety settings, screen time management and ways to support children in having safe and positive online experiences.
The guide explains:
- how parental controls can help manage access to content
- how to better monitor online activity
- how to set healthy boundaries across devices, apps and gaming platforms.
It also highlights the importance of ongoing conversations about online safety within families.
