Student Leadership

Our Borinya Student Leaders have shown fantastic commitment and enthusiasm throughout Term 2, working together to strengthen student voice and build a positive school community. 

A major highlight this term was the Big Freeze fundraiser, which was planned and led by our student leaders. Students took on a range of responsibilities including organising nominations, promoting the event, coordinating roles, and hosting on the day. The event was a great success, bringing energy, creativity and strong community involvement across the school. 

In addition, our leaders have: 

• Organised and presented weekly school gatherings, with a focus on reflecting Borinya values 

• Introduced a suggestion box to encourage student voice and ideas 

• Participated in the Sandhurst Student Leadership Day hosted by Notre Dame, Shepparton 

• Connected with peers through weekly yard walks 

• Have begun planning engaging end-of-semester activities for the school community 

Throughout the term, students have developed their leadership, teamwork, communication and organisation skills, while representing their peers with pride and responsibility.
