Year 8 Wood Technology
Most of the students have worked very hard in woodwork classes so far and should be proud of their achievements. They have challenged the skills already learned from last year (measuring, cutting and joins in particular). This semester they have made a tool caddy and a wooden pull toy of their own design; and they will have one more project to round out the semester.
Year 7 Food Technology
The students in Year 7 food technology have learnt how to make a simple pizza dough from scratch. They practiced and improved their ability to measure ingredients, mix, knead, and proof dough. After choosing toppings that fit their design brief, they assessed their pizza's.
