Western Metro Region Athletics Carnival
On Wednesday 8th October, eight students from Years 7–12 represented our school at the Western Metro Region Athletics Carnival at Moonee Ponds Athletics Track. Competing against strong opposition, our students performed exceptionally well and brought home several medals.
Highlights included Tahnee Hutchinson (10E), who placed second in both Triple Jump and Long Jump, and Ash Jenkins Du Preez (12D) and Aahil Shoaib (7B), who each finished third in their 400m races. A special congratulations to Samara Jassal (7C), who came second in the 1500m, and Eveleen Sachdeva (9C), who won Shot Put and both qualifying for the State Carnival on the 20th October.
