As we farewell our Year 12 students of 2025, we do so with immense pride and gratitude. Their final days have been marked by joy, unity, and respect—whether through the fun of Theme Day, during the heartfelt final chapel service, in the staff vs Year 12 soccer match, or buddy time with our Preps.
These moments reflect the character and spirit of this graduating class. The culmination of these events concluded with the Graduation Ceremony last Friday, which was a wonderful opportunity to formally recognise the contribution this group of students have made to our College community - some for 13 years!
We congratulate each student on their achievements and the positive legacy they leave behind. As they now turn their focus to final exams, we pray for calm minds, strong hearts, and clear purpose.

Last term, our Year 9 Engineering students designed, built, and raced solar-powered boats as part of our Sustainability and Renewable Energy unit. Working through the full design process students developed skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.
They explored how solar energy can be harnessed to power motion, gaining hands-on experience with circuitry, mechanical systems, and sustainable design principles. The project culminated in an exciting Solar Boat Race Day, where students proudly showcased their creations and celebrated their learning achievements.
Beyond the competition, the project encouraged environmental awareness and resilience, as students refined designs, overcame challenges, and learned from failure. The Solar Boat Project highlighted how creativity and technology can work together to address global issues and inspire the next generation of engineers.

During the September school holidays, Lily proudly represented Australia in archery at the Trans Tasman Challenge 2025 in Christchurch, New Zealand. She achieved outstanding results, earning a gold medal and a bronze medal in her individual events, and also competed in the mixed team event - helping Australia reclaim the Trans Tasman Trophy! Lily had a fantastic experience at her first international competition and is now training hard for the upcoming nationals, Trans Tasman, and World Youth Championships.

This term, our Year 9 students are working on a community project to raise awareness and support for children living with serious illnesses. As part of this initiative, they are encouraging donations to Make-A-Wish Australia, an organisation that brings joy and hope to children through life-changing wishes.
If you make a donation, the students would love to hear from you — please complete this short survey to let them know.
