Group 5

This year has been a highly successful and enjoyable one for Group 5. Students have particularly enjoyed our cooking lessons, where they have prepared a range of recipes including smoothies, banana bread and pizza, among many other dishes. These sessions supported the development of practical life skills while encouraging engagement and participation.

Group 5 also participated in a variety of exciting events throughout the term, including colour run day and many Christmas activities. 

In addition, students thoroughly enjoyed interacting with our school pets. Group 5 visited the school chicks when they were very young and revisited them as they grew, showing curiosity and strong engagement during these experiences.

Our read aloud sessions have also been a highlight of the year. Students explored a range of texts, from The Very Hungry Caterpillar to I Am a Smart Cookie, and demonstrated engagement by taking turns matching objects and turning pages.

Overall, it has been a wonderful year for Group 5, filled with joy, growth, and meaningful achievements. We are so incredibly proud of all the students and can not wait to see their continued growth! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
