Rev. Dr Michael Battersby

The King's College Primary Choir, led by our Music teacher, Mr Cameron Harries, brought Christmas cheer to the community at the Dazzle at Darius, a community event organised by the City of Kwinana. What a delight it is to share the gift of love, joy, and hope of Christmas through music, and connect with our local community during this festive season!

It was wonderful to come together as a College to celebrate God's gift of righteousness and peace this Christmas. Our Primary Choir and Secondary Creative Club students, led by Rev. Dr Michael Battersby, beautifully presented this year's Christmas services, filling the auditorium with energy, creativity, and the true meaning of Christmas. From joyful carols to rap and hip-hop rhythms, our students shared the message of Christ's birth in a fresh and meaningful way. We loved seeing our families and community come together to celebrate, and enjoy these special moments! Wishing you and your family a meaningful Christmas!

Our College paused to honour Remembrance Day—a time to commemorate the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who fought for our freedom.
Representing King's College at the Remembrance Day Service organised by the RSL Kwinana Sub Branch, our College Captains, Rohan and Jasmin, read a reflective poem; Music Captains, Pratichha and Jaya, led the National Anthem and performed "Abide With Me" and "The Blessing". Our Citizenship Captains, Alera and Ruby, presented and laid the wreath on behalf of the College. It was also meaningful to see Councillor for Kwinana, Balian Miller, an Alumni, reminding us of the ongoing connection and legacy our graduates carry into the wider community. We are grateful for those who gave and those who continue to give towards our generation. Lest we forget.
