Student Voice

At The King's College, student voice is highly valued. The student leadership team meets regularly to discuss ideas and initiatives. Students are encouraged to share their feedback and suggestions with the College Captains, ensuring their voices help shape the school community.
Primary Student Leadership: One Last Message
Sophia and Bert | Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy 2025
As we graduate, we would like to share our journey throughout the last year of primary school. As a cohort, I think we can all agree that Year 6 Camp was an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, fun and remarkable memories that we will cherish forever.
As the 'seniors' of Primary, we have been role models to the younger students, guiding them to love God and to show integrity. Those who had the privilege of holding a leadership position had extra responsibility, which was more work, but worth it. The Student Councillors helped run lots of fundraisers, such as Crocs and Socks Day, Jibbitz sales, and Mismatched Outfit Day, which raised several hundred dollars for our chosen charity, World Vision's 40 Hour Famine. As for the House Captains, they have brought cheer, spirit, energy and supportiveness to their factions and many sporting events.
Along this adventurous journey, we all discovered many life lessons, like learning from our mistakes, relying on each other, putting in effort and hard work into everything we do, and having fun in the moment, because soon we will be graduating from Primary.
And now, our primary school adventure draws to an end. None of it would have been possible without all the teachers and staff at TKC helping us grow and organising all the fun and enjoyable events on our journey to high school. We will finish this year with extraordinary memories of Year 6, thanks to everyone who worked countless hours to make it so special, especially Mrs Aldis and Miss Girling, our two amazing teachers.
1 Corinthians 15:58 says, "Therefore my brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the Lord, because you know that your labour is not in vain." That was a Bible verse that really stood out to us!
Introducing our 2026 Captains
We are proud to introduce our 2026 College Captains, Jasmin Dalgrin and Rohan Goray. Please enjoy this message from our newly appointed leaders.
As your College Captains, we are honoured to be stepping into this role. We are thrilled to announce that the Theme for 2026 is “Gratitude”. “Gratitude” is a reminder for all to reflect upon the blessings in our lives.
In 2026, we encourage all students to embrace this theme by recognising the kindness around them and being thankful for all that God has done for us as a school community and as individuals. In the theme of Gratitude, we’d love to create more opportunities for different year groups to connect. We are planning to organise and host fun community events that connect the year groups, for example, mixed-year team challenges.
Our focus for next year is to strengthen student voice and continue building a culture where every student can thrive. We are looking forward to serving as your College Captains in 2026!
