Primary Grounds Upgrade

Our Primary Campus received a lovely makeover, with brand-new turf in the play areas. The students have loved trying it out with cartwheels and handstands, and we're happy to report they give it a thumbs-up!

We were privileged to welcome The Honourable Roger Cook MLA, Premier of Western Australia and Member of Kwinana to our school to present an incredible ICAS Mathematics medal. He attended on behalf of ICAS to honour Prishaan, who achieved the top score in Western Australia for Mathematics. This is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to Prishaan’s dedication, hard work, and exceptional ability. It was a proud and memorable moment for our entire school community.

Congratulations, Prishaan! We are incredibly proud of you.

Our Kindy students brought holiday cheer to the residents of Banksia Park Retirement Estate, celebrating the Christmas season together. For the 9th year, this cherished Kindy tradition has allowed our students to connect with the retired community in our area. The children delighted everyone with Christmas songs they've been practising in class, celebrating the joy of Jesus’ birth. They also shared handmade gifts and served light refreshments. This event is always a meaningful and memorable occasion for everyone involved, and the residents eagerly anticipate it each year.

Our Year 5s enjoyed a Wicking Bed making incursion with Julian from Perth Wicking Beds.

Julian first ran an engaging theory workshop explaining the process and the importance of healthy soil in growing plants. The students then had the best fun constructing a rocking bed, gaining knowledge about each step of the process and the reason behind every step of the way.  Students had hands-on experience with wheelbarrows, digging and planting after the all-important installation of the wicking materials. The overall consensus was it was the best incursion ever!

Our Year 6s wrapped up their primary journey with an unforgettable Fun Day at Laser Corps! They had an absolute blast outdoors, teaming up (and getting just a little competitive!) in laser tag before heading to the park for a relaxed pizza picnic. The smiles said it all! It was a perfect mix of joy, friendship, and celebration. What a wonderful way to mark their very last Fun Day as Year 6 students. Congratulations to our Class of 2025 on officially finishing their Year 6 adventure!
