St Vincent de Paul Feast Day

This week we celebrated Vincent House and our House Patron – Saint Vincent De Paul.

St Vincent de Paul was a French priest known for his dedication to advocacy and serving the very poor and marginalised. He embodies compassion, humility, and charity (love), making him an ideal patron for our College. His life inspires us all to act selflessly, care for others, and live out Gospel values in everyday life.

Vincent House Prayer

Merciful God,

your son Jesus preached the good news to the poor.

May our hearts be filled with compassion

as we strive to follow his example of serving those in need.

Help us to recognise Christ in others

and inspire us to be the hand of love and charity.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Heart of Salvado

THANK YOU to the 48 Salvado Catholic College families and staff who have offered to put together a care package for students in the Kimberly.

We are still looking for more families to help out to cover the increased number of student enrolments in the schools up north. If you are able to help out, and have not registered yet, please click here to read the information about this program and click here to complete an Expression of Interest Form by the end of Week 10.

For families and staff who have registered, please look out for an email coming your way about the next steps in creating the care packages.

Pope Leo XIV's Monthly Prayer Intention

In September , we pray for our relationship with all creation.

Let us pray that, inspired by Saint Francis, we might experience our interdependence with all creatures who are loved by God and worthy of love and respect.
