Animation 3D
On Monday, 12 of our Year 9 students attended their final Career Taster for the year at North Metro TAFE’s Northbridge campus. The focus of this session was 3D animation and design, where students explored the fundamentals of 3D modelling, character creation, and animation techniques.
The experience not only introduced students to the creative possibilities within the animation and design industry, but also gave them a sense of what it is like to study at TAFE in the city and engage in adult learning environments.
Students came away with a stronger understanding of the career pathways available in animation and design, as well as how technology continues to shape the future of work.
We would like to sincerely thank Mrs Burgoyne and Miss Ward for supporting students throughout this experience.
This was the final Career Taster opportunity for Year 9 students this year. Across the four tasters offered, we hope each student has gained valuable insights to help guide them in making informed and positive choices about their future careers.

Staff Vs Students Netball
On Wednesday 24 September, our senior students faced off against staff in a lively netball match. The game was fast-paced and competitive, with plenty of skill on display from both sides. Despite strong efforts from the staff team, the students secured the win with a final score of 9-4!

Netball Club
Our Netball Club has had a strong start, with the girls showing up each week and playing with great energy. It’s been exciting to watch some of our first-time players quickly pick up the game and grow in confidence. The team spirit has been fantastic, with everyone encouraging and supporting each other on and off the court. We’d love to see even more students — both boys and girls — join us, so if you’re keen to give netball a go, come join us each Tuesday morning!
