Why Loose Parts Play Matters for Young Children

Loose parts are everyday items—like boxes, sticks, lids, fabric, or shells—that children can use in lots of different ways. There’s no right or wrong with loose parts, which means children can be as creative and imaginative as they like. Through this kind of play, children learn problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills, while also developing their confidence and independence. Loose parts play gives children the freedom to explore, invent, and see endless possibilities in the world around them.

If you have any loose parts materials from the list attached, please bring them to school next term and place them in the  tubs provided. Thanks in advance
