PBL Focus - School Toilets

This fortnight, our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) focus is on demonstrating respectful and responsible behaviour when using the school toilets. Toilets are important facilities, and it’s important that we use them appropriately. Taking care of the toilets helps keep our school clean, safe and comfortable for everyone.

Here are some ways to show positive behaviour in the toilets:

  • Wash your hands after using the toilet and put all rubbish in the bin.
  • Keep toilets neat by flushing and letting a teacher know if there is a problem.
  • Respecting the privacy of others in the toilets.
  • Only using the toilets for what they’re meant for, not as a place to play or hang out.
  • Try to use the toilets at recess or lunchtime. If you need to go during class, ask your teacher and remember to fill out the toilet log.

To help share this message, our SRC members will be talking to their classes about what respectful and responsible toilet use looks like, and encouraging everyone to follow these positive behaviours.
