We have nearly finished our Book Fair for 2026. It has been a fantastic time so far.
On Friday each class came to complete their wish list. This was great fun seeing the children’s eyes light up when they saw the books on display.
Monday was our Grandparent’s Day, and it was such a joy seeing grandparents and other special family members come to the library with their grandchildren to purchase books and other fun items.
Thank you to our generous grandparents and parents for buying so many books. It was amazing to see so many grandparents coming to visit our library today. It was lovely to see the delight and smiles on the faces of our children as they clutched their book/s, gifted to them from their grandparents.
On Tuesday each class came again and this time they were able to purchase the books they had chosen from their wish list.
It was very satisfying to see children leave with a book in their hand knowing they have the book they wanted and knowing it is theirs to keep.
Our book fair continues until tomorrow, Wednesday 13 May. If there are children who would still like to buy books or the other items we have for sale, please encourage them to come to the library anytime during the day. Parents are also welcome to come. Cash or card payments are possible.

Thank you to every grandparent, parent, aunty, uncle, grand friend, and friends, who purchased a book/s for their grandchild. Thank you to the families who also donated books to the library from the book fair. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
A love of reading is what we are trying to foster, and I think it is safe to say that reading is an activity that Roselea children and families are passionate about.
