Wellbeing Matters

Boorowa Central School is proud to be part of the Hilltops Council Full Plate Pantry initiative. This youth-led program plays an important role in addressing food insecurity across the Hilltops region.

The initiative not only provides nutritious, beautifully prepared meals, but also empowers students to develop valuable skills in cooking, teamwork and leadership. It strengthens connections between local organisations, schools and businesses, fostering a strong sense of community.

This term, Boorowa Central School hospitality students under guidance from Ms Catherine Golden, will be cooking up a storm, preparing meals to share and support other schools and organisations across the Hilltops region.

We are grateful to have already received meals stocked in our freezer, supporting students who may be experiencing food insecurity.

Students can visit the Student Support Officer to access this support.
