From the Deputy

At our school, we are incredibly proud of the wide range of opportunities available to our students. For a small country school, we truly achieve wonderful things.

Throughout the year, our students are provided with an outstanding curriculum, sporting and cultural experiences that extend learning well beyond the classroom. From excursions, performances and competitions to leadership opportunities, sporting events and hands-on learning experiences, our students are continually encouraged to challenge themselves, discover new interests and build confidence.

In recent weeks alone, we have celebrated the success of our Cattle Team, outstanding participation in Primary Verse Speaking, achievements at the Swimming Championships, strong performances in the Cricket Knockout competition and respectful representation at ANZAC Day services and marches. These opportunities and achievements have occurred within the past four weeks alone and are a genuine reflection of the vibrant and active school community we are fortunate to have. We have many more upcoming exciting experiences this term.

What makes these opportunities even more special is the strong level of student engagement and enthusiasm shown each time our students represent the school. Whether travelling to participate in academic activities, sporting events or cultural programs, our students consistently demonstrate respect, resilience and pride in their school.

These experiences are only possible because of the dedication and generosity of our staff. Many staff willingly give up extra time to organise, supervise and support these opportunities so students in our small community can access experiences often associated with much larger schools. Their commitment to our students is something we value enormously.

Thank you to our students, staff and families for continuing to support the many wonderful opportunities that make our school such a special place.
