Lost Property and
Second hand uniform
Lost Property and
Second hand uniform
Lost property will be available for inspection (and collection) fortnightly on a Friday afternoon outside the gym immediately before and after the school assembly.
All named items are returned to the classroom - only unnamed items are kept in Lost
Property.
Step 1: Lost items are handed in at the office
Step 2: Office staff check items for names and distribute as follows:
Step 3: At end of each fortnight the lost property collection is taken to the lost property storage room.
Step 4: On Assembly days, the lost property is displayed outside the gym from 2:40pm until 4pm for parents to view and collect their lost items.
With the weather starting to warm up, many parents will be starting to sort out which items of school uniform are outgrown and ready to be donated to the school for our next second hand uniform stall. We welcome clean items of uniform in good condition however we are unable to sell the following and would request that you not donate them:
Significantly damaged uniforms
A few pulled stitches from a seam can potentially be overlooked or fixed by the purchaser but if there are holes in the fabric, please throw it in the bin. Items that have noticeable stains on them (eg paint, pen, texta or food stains) cannot be accepted either.
Non-Karoo uniform items
We cannot sell yellow polo tops or bottle green jackets that don’t carry the Karoo logo as they do not meet Karoo uniform policy. The Salvos store in Rowville is happy to accept these items if they are in good condition.
Thank you for your assistance with saving our KPA volunteers the time required to sort and dispose of items we are unable to sell.
