Mr Hugh McLaughlin

Melbourne City Football Club Program

MCFC has officially started for our selected Grade 5 and 6 students. The program promotes not only developing a love for the game but also encourages playing sport in line with our school values. This program is funded through MCFC and will continue for the remainder of this year and into 2026.

If your child is interested and in Grade 5 (females) or Grade 6 (males and females), they are welcome to join. We are also planning to expand opportunities for Grade 5 males in the near future.

Bully No Way Week!

Last week was Bully No Way Week, and it’s important to recognise the vital role both the school and the community play in preventing and supporting those affected by bullying.

Karoo PS is committed to creating a child-safe environment, which means actively managing any incidents of teasing, harassment, discrimination, violence, and bullying.

You can find detailed information about our school’s approach to child safety in the following policies:

To help support our school and students in speaking up, it’s essential to have a clear understanding of what these key terms mean. Please find attached a resource that clearly explains what these terms mean.

If your child is experiencing any of this anti-social behaviour it is important to speak up, firstly to the classroom teacher or seek futher support from school leadership.
