St Catherine's Christmas Fair

Date: Friday 27 November

Gallery Image

The PFA Christmas Fair is fast approaching, and we are looking forward to welcoming families for a wonderful day of community, celebration and festive fun. As in previous years, each year level in the Senior School will be responsible for running a stall at the Fair. While these stalls will be largely student-led, adult supervision and parent support will be essential to their success.

Senior School stall allocations are as follows:

  • Year 7: Jolly Bags
  • Year 8: Bake Stall
  • Year 9: Choc Toss
  • Year 10: Raffle and Choc Tops
  • Year 11: Karaoke/Talent Competition

In addition, Year 2 parents will coordinate and run the popular sausage sizzle.

All Junior School families are invited to contribute a Jolly Bag for sale at the Fair. Further information can be accessed here, and Jolly Bag packs will be distributed to classes next week.

The Fair will feature a wide range of attractions, including carnival rides, food trucks, market stalls, live music performances, a Pimms Bar, a visit from Santa and much more.

Discounted ride wristbands are now available for pre-purchase and can be booked here.

Thank you in advance for your support. The Christmas Fair is a much-loved community event, and we look forward to coming together to make this year's celebration another memorable occasion.

Lovingly handcrafted by Amanda Thompson, who has generously created a fundraising doll each year in support of the Creative Arts Auxiliary, the doll features a beautifully designed wardrobe, with every outfit and accessory made by hand.

Named Alexandria, this unique St Catherine’s doll comes complete with summer and winter school uniforms, a PE outfit, musically themed dresses, casual wear and sleepwear.

A much-anticipated tradition, the annual raffle showcases Amanda’s remarkable talent and dedication to supporting opportunities for students through the Creative Arts Auxiliary. This year’s theme honours The Alexandria and the exciting possibilities it represents for creativity, learning and performance.
