Year Two Team News

Hello Year Two families,

It is hard to believe that we are in our final week of Term 3! Some highlights of our term have been reading the students’ narratives, ‘The New Toy,’ class discussions based on our class novel, ‘Polly & Buster’ and watching the collaboration and creativity that has unfolded during the last couple of weeks where students have been working together in small groups to design a new game. We are so proud of the effort and learning that has been displayed throughout Term 3 and we look forward to all the fun that Term 4 has to offer!

Thank you to all of our Grade 2s who made a contribution to the JSC fundraiser on Tuesday for Zoos Victoria’s, Wild Week, in support of fighting local wildlife extinction.

A reminder that tomorrow, for the last day of term 3, we will be celebrating the end of term with our Footy Day assembly. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in their favourite team colours and parents are invited to attend our assembly in the morning. 

Important reminders:

• Swimming: Year 2’s Warm Water Swimming program will commence on the first Wednesday of Term 4. Please check Compass for further details.

Scienceworks - Planetarium Sleepover Dates: 

• Thursday 5th Nov (2J)
• Tuesday 10th Nov (2W)
• Thursday 19th Nov (2I)

Additional details will be on Compass at the beginning of Term 4.
