UNDERDALE FUTSAL CUP 2026
What an incredible day for our LNPS students at the Underdale Futsal Cup! This year, we entered four teams, two boys’ and two girls’ teams, providing a fantastic opportunity for so many students to represent our school, compete and showcase their skills!
All four teams performed exceptionally well, with every team progressing to the semi-finals!
Our second boys’ and girls’ teams narrowly missed out on grand final appearances after tough matches against Woodville Gardens. Both teams should be incredibly proud of their efforts!
GIRLS GRAND FINAL – LNPS 4 | WOODVILLE GARDENS 1
What a cracking final! Our girls got off to a flying start, with early goals from Sophia and Emily putting LNPS 2–0 ahead! Woodville Gardens fought back to make it 2–1, setting up a tense, end-to-end contest.
With the game in the balance, our girls stepped it up another gear! Some outstanding passing combinations and attacking play saw Emily find the back of the net twice more to seal a fantastic 4–1 victory! An undefeated tournament and a well-deserved championship! Congratulations, girls!
BOYS GRAND FINAL – LNPS 3 | WOODVILLE GARDENS 0
Our boys were equally impressive, going undefeated throughout the tournament! The grand final was a tough, physical battle, with both teams giving everything.
The boys played some brilliant futsal, moving the ball quickly, combining beautifully and showing plenty of flair! Some fantastic team moves saw Nathanael score twice and Archie add another, securing a brilliant 3–0 victory. There was also a big clutch (save / slide) by Nathanael, which ended up being a goal line clearence, it was intense!! Congratulations, boys!

Soccer Competition
Congratulations to Nathanael, who recently competed in the Gold Coast Premier Invitational Soccer Competition, representing Sydney Juventus Academy.
Nathanael’s team finished an impressive 5th out of 124 teams, after losing in the quarter-final to the eventual champions. The team recorded 7 wins and just 2 losses, competing against some of the best academies in the country.
Nathanael had an outstanding tournament, finishing with 11 goals and 4 assists.
As a result of his performances, Nathanael has been invited by Sydney Juventus Academy to participate in the Juventus Academy World Cup, which will take place in Italy in June 2027.
An incredible achievement and an exciting opportunity ahead!
Nathanael has also been selected to represent South Australia at the 2027 Mitre National Futsal Championships in Gold Coast, QLD, this January.
This is an outstanding achievement, especially considering Nathanael will be playing up an age group in the U12 competition against elite interstate opponents. His selection to the SA State Team is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent.
