Welcome Back!

Welcome back to all our families, students, and staff to Term 4, 2026! We hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing holiday break. It’s been wonderful to see our students return with such enthusiasm and energy for the final term of the year.

There is plenty of excitement building around LNPS as we prepare for one of our biggest events of the year Rhythm Revolution at LNPS!

Our End of Year Community Night will be held on Thursday 26 November on the school oval, and it is shaping up to be a spectacular evening of music, dancing and community celebration!

Our students have been hugely engaged in learning and rehearsing their dances, and the enthusiasm around the school has been fantastic. We can't wait to see them take to the stage and showcase all their hard work!

Those who joined us for our 2024 performance will remember what an incredible night it was, and we are looking forward to making this year's event just as memorable, if not bigger and better!

More than just a performance, this is a wonderful opportunity to bring our LNPS community together, celebrate our students and enjoy a fantastic evening with family and friends.

Make sure you save the date: Thursday 26 November! We can't wait to see everyone there for what promises to be another amazing LNPS community celebration!

More information about the evening will be shared with families in the coming weeks.

Online Safety – Our Shared Responsibility

We are becoming increasingly concerned about the impact of social media and online interactions on student friendships, relationships and wellbeing. Issues that begin outside of school hours through group chats, messages and social media can often carry over into the school day, creating challenges for students, families and staff.

We have recently been speaking with our senior students about online safety, respectful behaviour and the importance of making responsible choices. Our LNPS values of Respect, Honesty, Care and Concern, and the Pursuit of Excellence are just as important online as they are at school.

We encourage all families to take an active interest in their child's online activity, have regular conversations about responsible technology use and reinforce expectations around treating others with kindness and respect.

Online safety is a shared responsibility, and by working together we can help our students develop the skills and judgement to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

I encourage families to read the more detailed article in this week's newsletter, which includes further information and helpful resources.

Hats – Sun Safety Reminder

A friendly reminder that all students are required to wear their school hats when outdoors during Term 4, including at recess, lunch and during outdoor learning activities.

Students without hats will need to remain in shaded areas during break times and outdoor lessons.

Hats can be purchased from the Front Office (subject to availability) or at any time through our online uniform store.

We ask families to please ensure their child brings a clearly named school hat each day. Thank you for your support in keeping our students sun safe!

We’re looking forward to another exciting and rewarding term as we wrap up the 2026 school year together!
