World Teachers' Day
On Friday 30 October, we will celebrate World Teachers' Day, an opportunity to recognise and thank the incredible teachers who make a difference in the lives of our students every day.
At LNPS, we are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated, passionate and caring team of teachers who go above and beyond to support, inspire and empower our students. Their commitment to creating engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships and helping every child grow and thrive is something we are extremely proud of.
This year's theme, Shine a Light, encourages us to recognise the impact teachers have, from those special lightbulb moments in learning to the encouragement, care and support they provide each day.
To celebrate, we will be treating our staff to a coffee van on Friday morning and a special luncheon as a small way of saying thank you for everything they do.
Our school community is also welcome to purchase a coffee from the van from 8:20am on Friday morning.
We encourage families and students to take a moment to thank a teacher who has made a difference in their lives. A simple message of appreciation can mean so much! If you’re posting on social media, use #WorldTeachersDay2026 and tag @aitsl to be part of the celebrations.
To all our wonderful LNPS teachers, thank you for your dedication, care and commitment to our students and school community. We appreciate everything you do!
