Classroom Support Workshop

Are you interested in volunteering in the classroom to support students with their learning? If you are volunteer trained, you are encouraged to attend this workshop facilitated by Jacqui Isgar - Assistant Principal (Early Years) and Abbie Van Pamelen - Speech Pathologist.

During the workshop we will be looking at how to support students with learning to read and the role of the volunteer. 

Date: Wednesday 15 May 2024

Time: 2:30pm - 3:10pm

Choir Assessment

On Wednesday, 15 May at 9:30 am the GPS choir will be graded on their song knowledge, singing ability, behaviour and enthusiasm. 

Foundation - Year 5 Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons for all students in years Foundation to Year 5 are scheduled for term 2, 20 May - 31 May. The lessons are held at Elizabeth Aquadome. 

Consent forms were sent via email on the 27th of March. The cost per student is $57 which is payable on the Qkr! app. Payment and consent forms are due by Sunday, 12 May.

School Photos - new date

Recently, our Governing Council Chair and Principal received an impressive proposal from The School Photographer. The proposal was then shared with our Governing Council in week 10 who all voted in favour of appointing The School Photographer for our annual school photos this year. 

We are pleased to share with you that a more favourable date has been booked; Wednesday, 31 July (week 2 of term 3). The catch-up day has been scheduled for Thursday, 8 August.
