Aberfoyle Park High School Shines at Ekiden Relay

On Thursday 17 October, a small but determined group of Aberfoyle Park High School students participated in the Ekiden Relay held at Bonython Park. This event saw our students competing in the Open Boys division, showcasing their endurance and team spirit.

The Open Boys team, comprising eight students, ran distances ranging from 1km to 5.4km. Despite the challenging hot conditions, several pacers were on hand to assist and motivate the runners throughout the race.

In this State-wide competition, our Open Boys team achieved an impressive ninth place finish. Each runner demonstrated exceptional effort and determination, with team spirit shining brightly as they ran alongside their peers to offer encouragement after completing their own legs of the relay.

Congratulations to all our participants for their hard work and dedication. Your performance has made Aberfoyle Park High School proud.
