SGSSA Athletics

On Tuesday, our senior students travelled to Mitchell Park to take part in the annual SGSSA Athletics Sports Day. Students arrived with a mix of excitement and nerves, ready to challenge themselves and represent our school. Throughout the day, they showed outstanding sportsmanship and a positive attitude, giving their best effort in every event, from throwing and jumping to running. It was wonderful to see so many students stepping outside their comfort zones and having a go.

We were thrilled to see several students achieve success on the day, with some proudly earning colourful ribbons for their efforts. A special congratulations to Maddie, who was awarded joint Age Champion for the 11-year-old girls, an incredible achievement.

We are so proud of all students for their effort, resilience, and team spirit on the day.

A massive thank you to all the families who attended to spectate and cheer on our school. Your support made the day even more special for our students. We also greatly appreciate those who generously gave their time to help out on the day. A special shout out to Ms P for coming along, overseeing the Long Jump, and enthusiastically cheering on our school.
