Year 5/6 Learning Reflection

Weeks 9/10

Grade 5/6 students had a fantastic time during Athletics Day at Keilor Athletics Track recently. Throughout the day the students participated in a range of events; a variety of running track distances, high jump, long jump, shot put and discus. It was an exciting day and wonderful to see students demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, supporting and cheering each other on  and giving their best effort in every event!

The students have also been working hard during Applied Literacy lately to finish off our latest text before the end of term 2.

Grade 6 have been reading, planning and drafting their own fables based on some known fables and the book The Silver Donkey we have been reading.

And if you get a chance, come and view the great texts the Grade 5s have published based on their Systemic Knowledge History unit.

Lastly, we wish you a safe and warm Winter break and look forward to seeing you in Term 3 for fresh new learning and fun.
