Prep Learning Reflection

End of Term 2 Wrap-Up

What a busy and exciting term it has been in Prep! The children have worked incredibly hard and are very deserving of a well-earned holiday break.

We have seen huge growth in our reading this term, and we are so proud of the progress everyone has made. Keep up the great work over the holidays by sharing lots of books together and practising those reading skills whenever you can!

In Systematic Knowledge, we have continued our Places and Country unit, learning about places and how they can change over time. Our curious little investigators enjoyed exploring erosion through a hands-on experiment in the sandpit, where we observed how water can shape and change the land. It was wonderful to see the children making predictions, asking questions, and sharing their discoveries like true scientists!

This week, both Prep classes came together for a special library session. The children loved sharing stories with their Prep friends and teachers, and it was a lovely opportunity to celebrate our love of reading together. The library was filled with happy chatter, great books, and lots of smiling faces.

Thank you for all your support throughout the term. We wish all our Prep families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday break. We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for another fantastic term of learning in Term 3!
