ICAN

This week we had a visit from Victorian Parliamentary Secretary for Education, Darren Cheeseman and Chris Varney, Founder and Chief Enabling Officer of I CAN Network who announced funding to expand the reach of the program over the next four years.

I CAN Network is Australia’s largest provider of Autistic-led group mentoring programs, training and consultancy. This is great news as GSSC will be able to continue the delivery of the program in school, to allow for mentoring to take place, as well as presentations for families and broader school communities.

GSSC has implemented the program at the school with great success after it was introduced at Wanganui Park Secondary College in 2017.
