Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist

Over the past few weeks, our Year 3 and 4 students have continued their preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Through prayer, scripture, class discussions, and reflective activities, students have been learning about God's forgiveness and how Reconciliation helps us strengthen our relationship with God and others. They have explored ways to show kindness, empathy, and forgiveness in their daily lives and have thoughtfully reflected on the choices they make.

As part of their preparation for First Eucharist, students have been learning about the significance of the Eucharist and its importance within the Catholic faith. They have explored the story of the Last Supper and deepened their understanding of how Jesus invites us to gather as a faith community and care for one another.

We warmly congratulate all of our Year 4 students on celebrating their First Eucharist!

In Mathematics, the MLA students have been developing their understanding of multiplication through a variety of hands-on and visual learning experiences. They have been using arrays, repeated addition and worded problems to build strong understanding. They have also been practising their times table. We encourage families to continue supporting this learning at home by regularly practising multiplication facts.
