Sacraments
It has been a busy term here at St Joseph the Worker learning about and preparing to celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. A big thank you to the MLA and SLA teachers for their time, passion and dedication to the preparation of the candidates. Your example of “Making Jesus Real,” in our community is to be commended. Our students are very lucky to have such amazing and real examples to model themselves on.
Thank you also to Fr. Pritchard and Deacon Ferdinand for concelebrating and sharing the sacraments with the candidates, families, friends, and staff.
Congratulations to the newly reconciled, those who received Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time and those who have been sealed with the Holy Spirit. Congratulations also to those students who received a blessing at each of the sacraments.
National Reconciliation Week
This week we take time to stop, reflect and pray for reconciliation in our local, national and global communities. The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi is a reminder of what we can do to be peacemakers in our world.
Kind regards,
