NSWCCC CUP - Valentine Park, Sydney Match Report – U19 Boys The U19 boys went down 3-0 in a tough fixture after conceding an early goal within the first five minutes. Missing three key players, the team showed great character and determination throughout the game. Nicholas McGibbon (GK) kept us in the match with an outstanding penalty save, denying the opposition a chance to extend their lead in the first half. The second goal came from a well-delivered cross and an exceptional volley that left little chance for the defence to react.

Defensively, Blake Sartor (C) controlled the backline well, but the team found it difficult to hold possession and link play to the strikers due to a strong, physical, and experienced midfield from the opposition. William Johns came close to scoring, narrowly missing the target as the opposing goalkeeper came out to close down the angle. Despite the challenges, the boys continued to fight until the final whistle. Congratulations to all the boys in what was a hard-fought contest.
