Pathways Expo 2026

Thank you to all the families who attended our 2026 Pathways EXPO in the first week of term. It was another highly successful evening, with an excellent turnout from students, families and members of the wider community.

The event provided valuable opportunities for students and families to connect with local employers, explore the future of employment in Gippsland, and learn more about apprenticeship and career opportunities. College staff were also available throughout the evening to discuss subject offerings and help students understand how their subject selections can support their future study and career pathways.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the local employers, training providers and tertiary institutions who generously gave their time to attend and support the evening.

Year 10 Work Experience

A reminder to all Year 10 students planning to undertake work experience that blue forms must be submitted at least two school weeks before the commencement of the placement.

Students requiring assistance with completing the paperwork or contacting employers are encouraged to make an appointment with Mrs Considine.

VTAC Applications

VTAC applications for Year 12 students opened on Monday 3 August. Students should now have registered their VTAC account and can begin entering their course preferences.

If students require assistance with their application, they are encouraged to make an appointment with Mrs Considine or access the helpful resources available on the VTAC website, including the Year 12 VTAC Guide.

Future Doctors Australia Program

The Future Doctors Australia Program offers students aged 14–18 a unique opportunity to explore whether a career in medicine is the right path for them.

During the four-day program, students participate in a range of hands-on clinical activities and spend time with practising doctors who provide firsthand insights into the medical profession. Students also take part in communication skills workshops, explore career pathways in healthcare, and gain an understanding of the admission process for studying medicine in Australia, including an introduction to the UCAT and medical interviews.
