Clay Target Shooting

Congratulations to Year 10 student Madison Gilmore on taking out 1st place in the Senior Girls category at the South East Zone School Clay Target Championships, held on 4 Aug

ust at the Frankston Australian Clay Target Club.

Competing against a highly talented field, Maddi's outstanding performance has earned her a place at the State School Person Championship, to be held at the Echuca Clay Target Club on 7 September, where she will compete against the best school shooters from across Victoria.

Maddi was joined by Year 8 student Sonny Grant, with both students proudly representing Catholic College Sale. Their maturity, sportsmanship and conduct throughout the competition were a credit to the College.

Congratulations to Maddi on this fantastic achievement, and well done to both Maddi and Sonny on representing the College with pride. We wish Maddi all the very best at the State Championships!

SSV State Cross Country 

Congratulations to our students who represented Catholic College Sale at the SSV State Cross Country Championships during the term break on Wednesday 16 July.

Our 16 Years Boys team, consisting of Sam Crouch, Oliver Sullivan and Noah Broughton, placed an impressive sixth overall. Oliver also achieved an outstanding sixth-place finish individually, completing the 5km course in a time of 16:34.77.

Jack Alcock and Grace Rowell also competed at the event, representing the College with pride.

National Eight Ball Championships

Congratulations to Year 8 student Makenna Wright and Year 12 student Ashlyn Wright on their selection to represent Victoria at the National Eight Ball Championships early next year.

We are incredibly proud of your achievement and wish you all the best as you represent Gippsland and Victoria on the national stage!
