Welcome Back to Term 2

Welcome back to Term 2! We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable break and are feeling refreshed for the term ahead. It is set to be a busy term filled with lots of learning and exciting experiences. We have a number of wonderful events coming up, including Education Week, our Mother’s Day celebration, the MiniBoss Incursion, and National Reconciliation Week. These opportunities will support and enrich student learning, and we look forward to sharing them with you throughout the term.

ANZAC Day

To commemorate ANZAC Day, students spent time learning about its significance and why it is an important day of remembrance in Australia. We listened to the story Anzac Ted, which helped us understand the experiences of soldiers in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. Students then created a beautiful ANZAC silhouette artwork, using dusk and dawn colours to represent the times of remembrance. It was a thoughtful and respectful way for students to reflect and honour those who have served.
