Cubs Club

What is Cubs Club?
Donvale Primary School is proud to partner with the Lions Club, and we are fortunate to have our very own Cubs Club — the first of its kind in Victoria. We even have our own logo which was designed by our 2025 members
The Cubs Club provides students with opportunities to collaborate, develop ideas, and lead fundraising initiatives that support communities in need. We work closely with Lions Club member Pat, who supports and guides students in bringing their ideas to life.
Membership:
Our members meet every fortnight. Our newest Cubs will be inducted into the club at assembly on Friday 15th May.
123Read2Me
At our last meeting we proudly presented Pat with some boxes of books that will be donated to 123read2me. This organisation provides books to disadvantaged kids. Pat has let us know that the organisation was thrilled to recieve our books which were in such good condition.
Current Initiatives:
Lions Recycle for Sight
We are excited to join this great humanitarian project. You can drop your prescription glasses that you no longer need off at the collection box near the office.
Stamps and Bread Tags
The Cubs Club would like to continue with these two exciting fundraising opportunities that were started last year. We are asking the Donvale Community to collect stamps (new or used) and bread tags (plastic only please) to help raise money in providing wheelchairs for less fortunate communities.
If you have any to donate, there are collection boxes located at the school office.
We truly appreciate your support—and we know the communities we’re helping will too.
