The first Australian team participating in the international olympaid for Astonomy (IOAA) and Astrophysics is currently preparing for the event. They had a workshop at school with local community member and demonstrator for the Astronomical Society of Victorian Colin Pickthall. Then on Friday night they met at Mordialloc Beach for a viewing session (and pizza).
They are looking forward to applying their skills to the competition challenges.
