Students in Astrophysics enjoyed their last lesson today by determining the speed of light in rice paper and then in chocolate using a microwave. A great end to the term!
Students from the new elective Tiny Village Design attended Monash Tech School on Friday 20th June to test out their new workshop on Sustainable Housing. They tested the user interface for a chatbot and designed floor plans and constructed houses. They also investigated the conditions for growing different plants within a mini greenhouse environment using a range of sensors.
This was a great opportunity to work with our partner school and consider the elements of designing a new course. Their feedback will enable Monash Tech school to test and evaluate their program prior to running with other schools.
