Look what's happening in Melbourne at the National Gallery of Victoria.

The dazzling Winter Masterpieces:

French Impressionism exhibition is here direct from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

This major exhibit charts the trajectory of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism in France, with more than 100 paintings by artists like Monet, Renoir, Degas and Pissarro.

The grade 4 students have been researching French artists this term. 

The focus was, "How French artists have influenced the Australian culture?"

"Comment les artistes Français ont influencé la culture Australienne?"

This is a great event to make connections and further their understanding and appreciation for French Fine Art.

And not to mention, the NGV Tea Room put on a beautiful High Tea!

A great family day out now or during the school holidays!
