 Community Fair!

Can you believe the School Fair is only 11 weeks away! There is much to do and so much fun to look forward too! This coming week the students will hear all about the Fair at their Assembly! There will be rides, games, yummy food, disco, attractions, main stage, performances, show bags and raffles!! We do need our amazing community to come together to help make this Fair a great success! We are asking for whole school donations for specific items that will be used on the day of Fair! Please see the whole school donation dates and what items we will be requesting and on what date! Students will be able to wear casual clothes on these dates when they bring in thier donated items! We thank you greatly in advance!!

Second Hand Uniform Shop

Rebecca Moore and Tiffani Chan have kindly offered to run the Uniform Shop again this year! They did such a marvellous job of keeping it in order and ready for you all to shop! The second-hand uniform shop will be open three times a week: 

Tuesdays - 8.45-9.00am

Wednesdays - 3.15-3.30pm

Friday 8.45-9.10am

Special Request

A family at our school has recently had a litter of gorgeous French Bulldogs and are looking for their forever homes! The puppies are $2500 each. The puppies were born on July 18, 2024. They are healthy, robust and passing all their milestones. They will be going to their new home microchipped, vaccinated and fully Vet checked, heart checked and DNA checked. Subway is back for 2024! Orders must be in via the Canteen hub App by 12pm Wednesday!

Rosa Mexicano has a new name - Hola Mexico Karingal! They will still be delivering the most delicious Mexican food every Thursday - this is a family owned business from St A's!

There are lots of yummy lunches to choose from, and can be ordered on the flexischools app.

Savers Plus

About Saver Plus:

Saver Plus is a free community program where participants can get up to $500 in matched funding for education costs.

        There are three parts to the program:

1. SAVING – ANZ bank will match what participants save up to $50 a month to a total of $500 over 10 months
2. WORKSHOPS - fun workshops where participants build on their money management skills and we share practical resources. These are held on Zoom and have never been more flexible to attend.
3. CLAIMING -  In the 11th month of the program participants claim their matched funding.

Eligibility:

Participants MUST:

1.       Be 18+ years old and doing the program for the first time

2.       Have Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card

3.       Have a Centrelink payment

4.       Be studying themselves or have a child that is studying

5.       Have some money from work – includes cash in hand work, child support payments, partner’s work and carer payments.
