Book Week!

In Week 6 we celebrated Book Week! This year the theme was Reading is Magic.

The students participated in virtual incursions on Tuesday and Wednesday and got all dressed up for our Book Day Parade on Thursday.

It was fantastic to see all our students dressed up as their favourite book characters and have a boogie! Our staff even got involved as well, with an Alice in Wonderland theme!

We also had an incursion from Perform Education this week to round out the celebrations. The peformance was titled 'Maybe A Miracle' and explored some of this year's CBCA Short Listed Books. It was great to see our students getting involved, answering questions and dancing along!

Father´s Day Stall and Event

 On Thursday we held our annual Father´s Day Stall to provide students the opportunity to buy some gifts for their Dad´s, Grandfather´s and Father figures! Thank you to our parent helpers - Tess Harwood, Carly Hammond, Kate Schultz, Krystal Arvanitis, Kym Cody, Camilla Irvine, Kim Castles, Kelly Davidson and Morgan Decker for helping set up and run the stall!

 On Friday we held our Father´s Day event with a BBQ, drinks, snacks and lots of games and fun for all our special Dad´s, Grandfathers and Father figures! It was so heartwarming to see all the children having fun, playing games and laughing with their Dads and special visitors! We thank Mrs Rodda for providing this wonderful community event!

St A's Playgroup
