The Book Week displays and new books available for borrowing have been a great success with even more books being added to the displays as so many have been borrowed by students. With so many books being enjoyed by students, reading really is magic as reflected in the Book Week theme for this year.

Even more new books have arrived and will soon be on display for borrowing. Books across different genres and in different formats including graphic novels, manga and comics have been added to the collection.

A final Overdue Notice will be sent to those students who have overdue books from Term 2 to provide them with the opportunity to return these books before an invoice for the cost of the non-returned items is generated by the Finance Department. Parents will also receive this overdue reminder notice.

Thank you to those students who return their books in a timely manner so that other students have the opportunity to enjoy reading them.

“I wouldn’t be a songwriter if it wasn’t for books that I loved as a kid. I think that when you can escape into a book it trains your imagination to think big and to think that more can exist than what you see.” – Taylor Swift
