Years F & 1

The students have continued working hard on their sounds write and the foundation students have started looking at words that have four sounds. They have been working hard and building their confidence with longer words. 

We have been working hard on writing, where students have been given a sentence stem and they have to finish it. We have been focusing on sentence stems with because and students have to finish the sentence with the why. We have also been talking about common and proper nouns and had a go at writing them into sentences. 

In art this week, we started a nice and messy art project where we are using paper mache. The students took on the challenge well and I can't wait to share the finish product.
