Student Voice Council

Student Voice Council plays an important role in our school community. While they are well known for organising fun events and fundraisers, their work goes far beyond that.
A key part of their role is to listen to students and gather feedback about how we can make our school an even better place. Council members regularly talk to students in their year levels, collect ideas, and share these with staff to help bring about positive change.
A great recent example of this is the new soccer goals on the Senior Oval. Many students shared that they would love improved equipment for games at recess and lunchtime, and thanks to the Student Voice Council, this idea became a reality. The new goals are already being enjoyed by many students across the school.
Students are encouraged to continue sharing their ideas, knowing that their voices can lead to real improvements in our school.
See below for some comments from students about the new soccer goals:
"They're the best - I love the nets!" - Xavier
"They make scoring easier and they're really stable" - Mary Grace
"It makes it easier to see where to kick the ball to score a goal." - Amara
"They are fantastic. We get to use real goals and we don't have to run too far to get the ball after a goal." - Ernest
"It feels like I'm playing real soccer." - Daimon
