Stage 2 News

Year 3
After being postponed due to rain earlier in the term, Year 3 finally had the opportunity to visit Symbio Wildlife Park this week. The excursion provided a fantastic connection to our Science unit from last term, where students investigated how living things depend on energy and materials to survive.
Throughout the day, students had the chance to feed a variety of animals, observe them up close in habitats that closely resemble their natural environments, and explore the physical features and adaptations that help them survive. A highlight for many students was seeing the dingoes, which linked perfectly to our class novel, Wandi, and brought our learning to life in a meaningful way.
The students demonstrated excellent behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the excursion. With perfect weather and plenty of memorable experiences, it was a wonderful day of learning and fun for everyone involved.
Year 4
Year 4 have had a wonderful Term 2. We have been busy learning about many new and exciting topics in Science and History. We have also managed to take time and show our creative talents in Art, Music, Dance and Drama. Here are some wonderful examples of artwork.
We wish everyone a safe and happy upcoming school holiday. The rest is well deserved as we prepare for another semester of learning.
