Hurstville Public School 150 Year Community Fair
Come and celebrate 150 years of Hurstville Public School at our Community Fair on Saturday 8 August 2026, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. There will be rides, stalls, face painting, live performances and fantastic food for the whole family to enjoy.
Pre-sale unlimited ride wristbands are available for $29.99, giving your child unlimited access to rides all day. Wristbands will also be available on the day for $35.

We are excited to launch the HPS Art Competition as part of our 150 Year Celebration! This initiative aims to boost student engagement and involvement by encouraging students to showcase their creativity through a range of artistic mediums. Student artworks will be proudly displayed at the 150 Year Celebration Fair, where members of our school community will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite pieces. We look forward to celebrating the incredible talent and creativity of our students together as a community.
Past and Present Mufti Day -3 August 2026 Celebrating 150 Years of Hurstville Public School
As part of our celebrations marking 150 years of Hurstville Public School, we are excited to invite all students to participate in our Past and Present Mufti Day on:
Date: Monday 3 August 2026 (Week 3, Term 3)
Students are encouraged to come dressed in costumes that reflect the theme of "Past and Present". Some ideas include:
Students, teachers or community workers from Hurstville's past
Historical occupations or professions
Clothing styles from previous decades
Any outfit that creatively represents the theme of Past and Present

This special day provides students with an opportunity to celebrate the rich history of our school and community while reflecting on how life has changed over the past 150 years.
Please note that no gold coin donation is required for this mufti day.
