Support Unit News

In Week 9, our students enjoyed a fantastic excursion to Symbio Wildlife Park. With beautiful weather and plenty of sunshine, it was the perfect day to explore and meet some amazing animals. We started the day with a reptile show before wandering through the zoo to see meerkats, goats, a cheetah and some adorable koalas. A highlight for many students was the opportunity to hand feed the kangaroos, which brought plenty of smiles and excitement!

Week 10 saw Hurstville Public School host our All Abilities AFL Inclusion Day, welcoming students and families from other Support Units for a day filled with fun, friendship and connection. Students enjoyed learning AFL skills with specialist coaches and participating in a range of exciting activities. One of the biggest hits of the day was Swan Lake, which had everyone joining in the fun!

It has been wonderful to see our students embracing new experiences and creating special memories together. We hope everyone has a wonderful break and look forward to seeing you all in Term 3!
