Principal's Message

Dear Families,

I had the pleasure of joining our Grade 6 Camp this week and it was fantastic! I was so impressed with the resilience, encouragement and team work shown by our students as they took part in various activities and challenges. Some students faced incredible physical and mental battles when taking part in the camp activities, and it was great to see the encouragement and cheering from our students and staff to help them to overcome each challenge. We look forward to hearing similar stories from our Grade 4 and Grade 5 camps this term.

Lady Gowrie, our Outside School Hours Care provider recently underwent an external audit of the service. Whilst they were meeting all standards, we are pleased to report that they were found to be “Exceeding” in 5 of 7 Childcare Standards. They were particularly impressed with the relationships between the service and the school. This is an incredible achievement and we are really pleased to have such a high quality service available for our families to utilise. 

We look forward to another successful community event with our International Men’s Day Celebration on Wednesday 26 November. Students will invite one or two influential men in their lives to take part in an afternoon of activities. More information to come!
